Gift

Gradually the frown disappeared. Her mouth also opened because of what she saw. "Queen Poppy?" she almost murmured.

“Yeah, and it’s my gift for you,” I said.

She looked at me. “Why are you giving that to me? It's not my birthday.”

“It’s supposed to be my farewell gift for you, but because you’re mad at me. So, it's now a peace offering gift for you. Come on, get it.”

She slowly took the huggable stuffed toy from me and immediately embraced it. "Thank you," she said as she looked at me.

I just stared at Davvy and went up to my room to pack my things in my suitcase.
