We came back from our meeting and headed straight to the dining hall, but my senses were telling me that Emily was not in here, I could sense her somewhere else. Her scent was near and directed me towards the kitchen.
My hand held the top of my chair as I stood up, looking out towards the smell of her scent.
Hope, Harou, and Candace sat in front of me. I liked the idea of round tables, it made us all feel equal. It was a costume we had for all three of our allied packs. Whether we gathered at the Blood Moon Pack, the Crescent Moon Pack, or in ours, we always brought out round chairs to show equality. The same went when we had formal dinners in our own pack.
