Removing the drive from the laptop, I made to leave only for a large frame to stop me. Surprise filled me as I looked up.

“Jon?” I mouthed silently. I didn't even notice when he came up. I’d tried my best to avoid thinking or looking at his reaction in the beginning but as I kept on talking I'd lost track. I didn't know what to expect from his reaction. In hindsight, I should have expected this.
