20: Long overdue recompense
Liam is a beta from the South. He survived an attack on his former pack, the harmony pack, and after being rescued and taken care of by the Rogue pack, he joined us. It's been three years and despite the challenges and pain that came with that decision, he has remained loyal to us.
"It won't be so long anymore," I assure him, reaching to place a firm hand on his shoulder and together we step out of the room.
Rachel and Ian stand outside the hotel which I lodge, looking set for today just like they promise and I nod at them before heading towards my car. The door to my Kia motor opens and Liam and I step into it. The driver drives us off immediately, already knowing the address, and Ian and Rachel's black Toyota car follow behind us.
This is the first step in changing all our lives and we will do it together.

Tomorrow is our graduation, and today has been hectic from beginning to end. I had to run from school, then back home and then I left to get what to wear for the event. My heartbeat skips when the voice, which I know very well asks, and I pause in my steps and turn back around. I step into the garage where Aliyah had told me Ken was working on his motorbike.
