23: The road that matters
Tomorrow is our graduation, and today has been hectic from beginning to end. I had to run from school, then back home and then I left to get what to wear for the event. Ken came by and picked me up so we could go shopping together and brought me back home once we did. I got nothing fancy, just a red sundress while he got a blue three-piece suit.
I had my cast taken off today and my arm feels free and knowing I wouldn’t be wearing a cast while I give my graduation speech tomorrow makes me feel so much better.
I step into the bathroom to shower and get sleep for the night. The cold water descends on my skin and my lips quiver and a few seconds later, it warms up against my skin. I sigh and relax my palms against the bathroom wall, thinking about the road so far at Unique Academy.

I step into the garage where Aliyah had told me Ken was working on his motorbike.
