35: The guilt of doing nothing

"You're mad about India." he points out flatly.

I turn to him abruptly, my eyes wide and alert. "Can you blame me? After everything she's done, you chose her and placed her on our seat. I mean she's not even your date yet and you're already throwing your friends away. I wonder what you'll do after three months. It feels almost as if you forget what she did to you. The memory should be enough to keep you away from her."

He heaves a deep sigh and his head drop, "Jaclyn, it's not as simple as you make it seem."
