41: Never coming back

I set my bags together and zipped them up. It’s been three days since the result of the first half of training came out and it’s time to leave for Beverly Hill, the big city where our final half of the Go Project training will begin.

I received emails three days ago, congratulating me on making it to the top five candidates for the project and I remember running around the house overwhelmed with joy. Ken called about an hour later to tell me he also passed onto the final half and hearing that brought tears to my eyes. Then I called Caroline and she told me she also made it through. That day somehow became my happiest day along with the day I got accepted into the UA. 

I began preparations to leave, excited for the journey about to unfold. 

Mama felt proud after I broke the news to her and she told me the sky would be a stepping stone for me. So far, she has helped me put some stuff together, and she got me provisions and a few food items. I
