40: The power of forgiveness

A knock comes to my door and I mentally try to discern who it is. Yes, I have an outing with Ken today because we plan on seeing the places we haven’t been to at the north central before the first half result comes out. Yet, I am not so sure he would come over by this time. 

I would say mama, but she doesn’t come back this early from work; she never has. Besides, she has her own key and wouldn’t have to knock to get in unless she lost the key, which I very much doubt. I wonder if there’s even someone at the door to begin with. 

The knock comes the second time, and groaning; I rise from the bed and make my way out. 

“Who’s there?” I grumble as I get to the door, but silence greets me back. “If you don’t speak, this door will stay close.”
