44: Trouble and its many shades
Ken insisted he wanted to walk me to my door despite us all living in the same compound and the door to his house next to mine. I figured this was his way of being nice since he knew the hectic day I had and how I almost missed the bus because of work.
Ken closeness isn’t a surprise, he’s always been this way for the longest time, but I’ve, however, noticed the closeness of Caroline and Quinton. Since there was no bad blood between Quinton and me anymore, I put little mind that Caroline sat beside him on the bus while we drove to work and also while we came back. It was odd, but easily dismissible. However, once in a while, I noticed the side looks and the small giggles and I do not want to jump, but something more than friendship is going on between those two.
And while they got down from the bus earlier, their hands entwine and together they made their way towards Caroline’s door.
