Chapter 106: Evidence Gotten II

LUCAS POV

“Now that we've gotten the evidence we need, we can have to get to her before she leaves the county, I know that'll be her next move.” Jack said, heading to the car as I stopped him.

“What do you think you're doing? Leave that to the investigator to do, she's a dangerous lady trust me, we shouldn't get involved with her.” Jack sighed, raking his hand through his hair as I patted his back.

“Relax and calm down, it's gonna be fine and alright nothing is gonna be wrong trust me.”

A few hours later, a call came through Jack's phone and immediately he stood up.

“Let's get out of here, the investigator has something to show us.”

As we got out of the car, my eyes took in the environment, the serenity was top notch and so was the right security.

“Good day Mr Jackson, Jack please this way.” He said, leading us in as we followed suit.

“So what did you find out? I hope she__”

“I think she left the country immediately after the dinner date with you.” He said as we walked into his offi
