Chapter 47: A Brighter Side

ALLYSA'S POV

We rode out of the compound in silence and I was grateful for that, the peace and calmness was soothing but sleep was far from my eyes. I felt his eyes boring holes into my face but I cared less.

“You can stop staring, I'm not for an auction.” I said rudely, not turning to face him. Who did he think he is? “You're becoming so rude__”

“I've always been rude but I tried to be nice and caring but I think you don't need it, you love it the harder way.”

“What do you mean?”

“Think deep Lucas, I cannot tell you everything.” I saw him sigh from the corner of my eyes and a small smile crept up my face.

When we got back home, I walked into the house, up the stairs without saying anything to him, and I guess he got the message that I didn't want to be disturbed.

We both changed out of our clothes and in no time we were on the bed, facing either sides.
