Chapter 50: Brighter Side

ALLYSA'S POV

My eyes fluttered open, taking in the little daylight pouring in. I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, going through with my morning routine of brushing my teeth before walking out of the bathroom.

I looked at Lucas as he still slept peacefully, snoring lightly. Shaking my head, I walked out of the bedroom and almost bumped into Benny.

“Oh you're awake.” I said, sounding surprised.

“Yes I am, I was about going to prepare breakfast.” She replied as I smiled. “I'll prepare it, you can just assist, I've got two hours before I go to work.”

We walked into the kitchen, my eyes taking in the utensils and equipments, it's actually the first time I was going into my kitchen.

“What do you wanna prepare ma'am?”

“Anything you feel is right, scrambled eggs, bread, oats, pies and all.”

“I'll get the things ready for you.” I watched as she scrambled round the kitchen, arranging everything on the kitchen work table.
