Chapter 70: Sadness

LUCAS POV

Jack will really have my neck on a pole for doing this but why did I do it? I asked myself as I sat by the poolside, closing my eyes.

“You have to believe me Lucas, it's not what you think, besides why did you have someone stalk me? It's ridiculous.”

“You're a cheat Allysa, get that into your head.” Tears rolled freely down my cheeks as he walked towards the door. “You really believe what you saw?” I asked, holding him back.

“Yes I do, I believe it and there's nothing you can do about it.” he pushed my hands off him as I fell to the ground.

“Now you can feel what I've been feeling with your cold treatment.”

“Shit.” I muttered. I said a lot of insensible things.

The next morning when I woke up, Allysa wasn't in bed and it made me wonder where she had gone to. My phone buzzed and as I looked at the name displayed on the screen, I closed my eyes.
