Chapter 26

Brooke's pov

"Drive faster, Martin!" I shout not because I'm mad but because I want to get to my mother.

"I'm already driving past the speed limit I promise you she will be fine," he said still keeping his eyes on the road.

"You can't make that promise Martin it's one promise you can't keep," I told him the rest of the journey was silent.

As soon as we got to the hospital I jumped out and start running as if the devil was after me I didn't even wait for Martin or Payton all I could think of was to get to my mother.

I run into the hospital ignoring everyone as I stop in front of my father, "Where is mom?" I asked looking around.

"Let me take you to her," he said and I can tell his been crying.

I walked into her room and my father close the door behind me I look at my mother connected to tubes and she seems paler than this morning.

"Hey honey," she said in a weak voice.

"Mommy," I sobbed as tears flow down my face as I walked up to her.
