Stuck in a basement

Something wet kept dropping on my face. Like droplets, causing me to come out of the darkness I had succumbed to and open my eyes.

As I slowly regained consciousness, a haze of disorientation and grogginess enveloped my senses. My head throbbed with a dull ache, and a heaviness weighed upon my limbs, making even the slightest movement a struggle. The world around me seemed distorted, as if I were trapped in a nightmare from which I couldn't awaken.

What is happening? Another drop fell on my forehead and I realized the ceiling was leaking.
