Paige's POV

I smiled as Attorney Samantha Li sat in front of me. I'm still here in the coffee shop. She called me a while ago saying she has something important to say. Actually, I'm having doubts about that important matter. She's the lawyer I hired for the divorce that Noah insisted on.

"Mr. Hanson withdrew the divorce petition, Paige."

My heart almost stopped. I'm already expecting this but I can't help being so shocked. Noah would really do what he says. He said, he's gonna push the divorce again and here it is. He's doing things in favor of his wants again.

"I see you're not shocked," Attorney Samantha added and heaved a sigh. "Did you talk to Mr. Hanson, Paige?"

I chewed my bottom lip. "He wanted something I can't give. So, he's using our marriage to trap me in his world."
