Chapter 12 Never Be The Same

Paige's POV

"Paige!"

Noah keeps on chasing me after the consultation with the divorce counselor. I don't wanna talk to him. He keeps on convincing me to withdraw the divorce petition I filed.

"Paige!" He managed to grab my arm but I quickly pushed him away and went inside the passenger seat of Attorney Samantha's car.

I sucked my breath and locked the door. Noah keeps on knocking on the window, telling me to open the door.

"He won't stop, Paige. He badly wants you back."

I shook my head. "He wants the baby, Attorney."

She started the engine and started driving. She glanced at me. "Do you mean it, Paige?"

I pressed my lips together.

"I heard what you said earlier, Paige. Can you really do that?"

I shook my head and looked at her. "I will never harm my baby, Attorney. Never even in my wildest dreams."

Attorney Samantha didn't speak again. A deafening silence conquered us until we reached my home. She looked at me. "Go on and rest, Paige. This was a very tiring and long day for you."
