Chapter 42: A Crazy Day

Miranda’s P.O.V

“So where is it that you’re taking me?” Davien asked, buckling up his seat belt.

I started the engine and then backed out of the driveway. “When you drove me here, you told me not to ask you where we were going. So, not it is your turn to sit quietly and stew in suspense,” I answered cleverly with a smirk, and he rolled his eyes.

A forty-five minute drive later and we were parked in front of one of my favourite places in the whole world. Davien leaned over in his seat to get a better view of the bold letters decorating the façade of the building before he graced me with a flat look. “A bowling alley?” he asked me, unimpressed.

I smiled. “Yep,” I replied, popping the p. “I hope that you can play because I just might kick your ass today, Huxley,” I added coolly before jumping out of the SUV.
