I Miss You

Recently I found out that what I hated most was not being around Luisa. I had always thought doing things that wouldn’t fetch more money in my account was frustrating, but I found out that not seeing Luisa for a week was more frustrating and annoying. I had been avoiding travelling out for business because I wanted to be close to her, but there was no way I could avoid it anymore. Also, I would make sure I convince her to follow me on my next trip.

“What are you staring at?” Jimmy’s voice brought me out of my thoughts. We were in a bar trying to let off some stress after dealing with meetings for five days straights. I took a sip of my drink, “What do you mean?”

He raised his brow. I guess he was now in his friendship mood, and not a worker mood. “Something is bothering you?”

I shook my head taking another sip of my drink. “I am not bothered about anything?”

He wasn’t convinced, he was one of the few people I couldn’t lie to even if I was lying to myself. “Tell me what’s wrong.
