Luisa’s POV

“Why did you do that?” Jenny whispered yell. “How can you advise him to allow her to move to the mansion?”

Two days after the date, Clarissa moved into the mansion with her daughter. She had tried her best to move right beside Kingston’s room but he had insisted she move to the down floor.

“I think it’s for the best”

She raised the cup in her hand to me. She was working in the kitchen, while I sat down on the counter. Kingston had officially stopped me from doing any maid-related work. “For the best! In what way exactly? It’s obvious that she doesn’t like you, and instead of you trying to avoid her and making sure that she is far from you. You are doing the opposite. I don’t get you, Luisa. You used to be smarter than this. What’s wrong with you?”
