Chapter 41

Upon bidding farewell to Seth, Jane proceeded to peruse the script.

Although the number of roles was limited, Seth assured her that she would be available to join the team after finishing her work for the magazine. Nonetheless, time was still a bit tight.

Damien Wolfe, on the other hand, had already returned to his family's estate and was expected to be absent for the next two days.

The following day, Seth personally drove over to collect Jane and brought along his assistant, Hannah Inker.

Hannah, a plump young woman in her early twenties, had a chubby face and looked quite adorable. As soon as she caught sight of Jane, she exclaimed, "Hello, Miss Jane! I'm Hannah."

"Hi there, just call me Jane," she replied with a smile.

"That's right, you look younger than me." Hannah said, sounding a bit embarrassed.

Jane wanted to assure her that it was fine, but was interrupted by Seth.

"Alright, it's getting late. Let's exchange pleasantries in the car and head off now."
