Chapter 109: Forgiveness, reunion

At that moment, from out of nowhere, an older man appeared, leading his 10-year-old son. They pushed through the crowd in front of the emergency room. As soon as they saw the lifeless body, the man grabbed his son's hand and ran towards it, then hugged the lifeless body and cried out.

"My wife! How could you leave me and our son so early?"

The man's voice trembled as he cried, while the child sobbed loudly. The cries jolted Axel awake, and he raised his blank face to look at the man hugging the lifeless body. The man also looked back at Axel, both wearing expressions of indescribable astonishment.

"Who are you, and why were you crying for my wife?" A man asked in confusion.

"What do you mean? Your wife?" Axel's words left the man equally baffled. What was going on here? He suddenly felt disoriented.

"Mommy, please don't leave me." The voice of a child caught Axel and the man's attention. Upon realizing that the child was not Henry, Axel's confusion deepened. So, that wasn't Daisy. Axe
