Chapter 17: Daisy's Weakness

"I'm in so much pain!" Daisy suddenly exclaimed as she felt an excruciating sensation in her leg. It wasn't too severe initially, but due to Axel's persistence, it had worsened. Daisy held on to her leg and burst into uncontrollable tears. Axel panicked, afraid that Daisy would attract attention from others, so he hurriedly tried to comfort her.

"Shh, don't cry. We don't want to get into trouble."

"But it hurts so much," Daisy complained.

"I know you're in pain, but please bear with it a little longer," Axel pleaded in a soft tone.

"I've endured enough already!" Daisy snapped, continuously blaming Axel: "If you had let me go, none of this would have happened. It's all because of you."

"It's indeed my fault," Axel admitted. "Now, can you try to endure it? Please, stop crying."

As Axel spoke, Daisy cried even harder, sobbing uncontrollably.

"What happened to you all of a sudden? Why are you crying louder?" Axel asked in panic. He was truly in trouble if someone happened to pass by this
