57: A Visit to Nona
“Hello, hummingbird.” Nona greeted as she opened the front door. I threw my arms around her neck and hugged her.
“Hello, Nona.” I greeted with a smile after pulling away. “This is Jarren.” I introduced.
“Well, hello there.” Nona greeted me with a smile.
“Nice to meet you,” Jarren told her.
“Come in, both of you.”
We stepped inside the house and followed Nona to her living room. She took a seat in an armchair, and Jarren and I sat on the sofa.
“Why aren’t you in school?” Nona asked.
