Dean half slammed his coffee cup onto the table, unable to contain his temper. They sat in a small cafe on the top floor of the building. The sound of gurgling water can actually calm the atmosphere, even with an artificial waterfall with a minimalist pond full of large koi fish that are even tame enough to pet their heads. But apparently it didn't work for Dean, he was furious with Adrian and the way he treated Kat, his cousin whom he loved very much.

He just left her for reasons that couldn't be accepted with common sense. Even if the reasons were true, Adrian still had no right to leave Kat alone. He knew very well even though he wasn't in the same city as Kat, that Adrian used to be so weak because of his illness and that Kat had always been there for him with all her heart.
