Chapter 47

Joanna’s POV

I stood by our balcony watching their interaction. It was Adams's kid and Katie. All this while, I thought the whole event after their silly weekend getaway would have been enough to teach her a damn lesson to stay away from him, but I guess I was wrong.

A sigh left my lips. It was the time of the evening when I just wanted to sit and appreciate the wealth I own, not worry about some overzealous teenage girl.

“That is your problem sign, Jo. What is it?” Donald asked from behind me. From the way he sounded, I could tell he wasn't really looking at me or even in my direction, he sounded distracted.

Turning around, I hoisted my butt against the cold white bar of the balcony watching him type away on his phone.

“It is Adams's kid and your daughter…” I usually did that when I wanted him to be pissed or at least give me a little of the attention he gives to his poll rating or event managers.
