Veil behind the face

Amber sat on the cold stone bed with her feet wrapped against each other as she thought back on what happened at the training ground. The door soon opened and when she moved her eyes towards the entrance, she saw that it was Harper.

Harper smiled on seeing her and she had her hands behind her back as she walked towards where Amber sat before gentle sitting down beside her.

Amber furrowed her brows a bit at her as she found it rather odd and she guessed that something must be up with her.

"What is it?" She asked her and Harper quickly turned her head to look at her with raised brows.

"What?" She asked back and then said, "Ah! It's nothing."

Amber gave a slight nod and looked away from her only to hear her say, "Bathilda is so mean. How dare she treat you that way when you are obviously her Hedda? You should definitely remove her as the commander." Harper went on complaining and Amber just listened to her.

Bathilda already told her about what she did but Amber knows it is Hazel's doing.
