Breathtakingly...Fake!

Pain.

Alexander grunted and pulled out the dagger from his stomach.

There was pain.

The meager yet dangerous object dropped to the floor with a dull clang and he spared it a glance.

Pain.

A lot of it but it was nothing compared to what the man who’d just stabbed him was about to experience.

He had on a smug expression, looked like he’d just achieved the unachievable…it made him feel pretty good about himself.

“Don!” Enzo had walked in, the tray of coffee they’d asked him for in his hand. Rain was behind him, she on a fuming expression until her eyes took in his current state.

“A—”

Alexander lifted a hand and stopped them both from moving forward.

Mr. Torricelli chuckled and his grip on the hilt of another dagger tightened.

“Why? Let them come closer...I want them to see just how much damage has been done and how easily you’re about to be brought to your knees!”
