Rain fixed her shirt awkwardly as the got seated in the car. His eyes were still on her, she could tell and it was making every single hair on her body stand in high alert.

Why was he still staring?

“Why are you so quiet?”

“Huh?”

Rain turned to look at him. He’d put on a new shirt and it only took him five minutes, just like her, he didn’t put on his blazer but instead held it over his shoulder as they walked.

His smoldering gaze kept her on the edge of her seat, Rain was trying so hard to not show just how much his close proximity affected her but yet…at this rate…

“Why haven’t you said a word since we left?” He asked looking like he was accusing her of something.

“Because I had nothing to say,”
