Chapter 40 Nia pov Lucian's Recovery

I woke up to a blanket being placed over me and peeked up to see Micah covering me. My head was resting against the dirt covering Lucian and everyone else was gone.

"Did Faelon finish healing his wounds?" I asked tiredly. Micah nodded.

"Yes, he did what he could. It's now up to your mate to heal the rest. It will take a bit because his injuries were extensive," he replied. I nodded and closed my eyes. I was tired and lying in the dirt felt wonderous to my soul and being near my mate was blissful.

"The dirt will help rejuvenate your vampire side so sleep deeply, sister," Micah said softly and left me alone in the darkened room. The light's turned off meaning Micah had exited. As I lay there I felt my abdomen extending and placed my hands on my baby bump.

"The special dirt is increasing the pup's growth," Eva growled and I grinned as my eyes closed from my emotional exhaustion.

I cracked open my eyes and opened them wider feeling my head against the flat ground. My breasts hurt and fel
