Bryant Reed POV

I watched as Celine paced restlessly in the room. Jeff was currently being attended to by the doctor that treated Nolan the other time he had injury. Seeing the worried expression on Celine's face made me feel guilty and regretted my action. I was enraged and only trying to protect my woman, but I guess I went too far. I shouldn't have done that.

"How is he, doc?" Celine paused and asked the doctor worriedly once he was done attending to him.

"The injuries have been tended to, and he'll be fine after he wakes up later," Celine sighed in relief when the doctor said to her.

"Thank you," She said to the doctor.

"Hmm..." The doctor nodded then turned to face me.

"I'll be on my way now, Sir. Call me if there is anything else you need. I'll come back tomorrow morning to treat the wound again," The doctor said to me, and I nodded.

"I will bring him some pain relievers when coming over tomorrow," He said to me and I nodded. He finally left, and I breathed out.
