Celine Coleman POV

My day in the office was boring and I didn't need anyone to tell me that it was because Bryant was not in the office.

I was finally off work, excited that I would get home early enough and see Bryant.

As I strode down the walkway that led to the elevator, my phone started to ring and I stopped to check who the caller was. I knotted my eyebrows confusingly when I saw the unfamiliar number displayed on my phone screen.

"Who is this?" I mumbled since I was not used to answering calls from strangers. I ignored the call and proceeded to the elevator. I pressed the elevator button, throwing it open slowly, and I stepped inside.

My phone beeped as I waited for the elevator to close, and I checked it tiredly.
