CHAPTER 36

"Don't. Just... don't," Audrina said, and I peered at her.

My cheek was still stinging from Audrina's slap, and a storm of emotions raged within me. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I couldn't fathom how she had the audacity to strike me. An Alpha.

Anger bubbled up from the depths of my soul, fueled by a sense of wounded pride and disbelief.

My hand instinctively went to my cheek, feeling the heat of the impact still lingering. I clenched my jaw, my brows furrowing as I looked her way.

"Who gave you the right?" I yelled with bitterness filling my tone. She didn’t say a word; she just stood there like a little child who had done something bad.

She flashed me this innocent look, and I knew what she was about to do next, and I wasn’t going to let her go on with it.

I couldn't let Audrina get away with humiliating me like that, nor could I allow her to think she could push me around.
