“Ian?”

“Hello kitten, how are your classes going?”

I’d spent the rest of the weekend with my nose in my books to make up for an entire day out only seeing him during meals, he seemed to be busy with work as well.

I’ve since exchanged a few texts with Elise and we spoke on when would be best for me to come for a visit to the foundation. I was excited about it, but also nervous. It was everything I’d always wanted to do looking from the outside, it was my passion. But I know how it would be to actually do it.

What if I was bad at it?

What if the kids didn’t like me? I would die.

“Hm?” I blinked then remembered we were having a conversation “Good what about you?” I hitched my bag higher in my back using on thick leather strap and kept walking.

“Last class I had was about a decade ago give or take” he returned lightly.

“I meant your day smart ass” I giggled as I walked passed other students either going or walk
