Chapter 32 Mom II

Jenna’s POV

The pain in my head was excruciating, but I ignored it and chose to walk towards Ma'am with my eyes closed. In my peripheral vision, I noticed a girl seated next to Ma'am; I wanted to have a good look at her face but I couldn't ignore Ma'am's cry and moved in her direction.

"Ma'am," I whispered quietly as I approached her, placing my right hand on her shoulder to get her attention. She looked at me anxiously, breathing heavily.

"Jenna, where are we?" she questioned, still clutching her head and looking about dizzily.

"Ma'am, I'm not sure," I responded, gazing around the large rectangular room with black walls and one little window on the right side of the entrance. which was the only source of light.

My gaze was drawn to a small kid curled up like a ball in the corner of the room. I couldn't see her face because she kept her head on her knees and folded her hands over it, but the form looked familiar to me. Her clothes were torn in some places and her hair was tangled and
