The night was spent cuddling and star gazing. Alex did not try to make any moves on me and I was thankful for that. After all the hiking and all, my body was too spent to engage in anything else physical. So, we just held each other tight as the night breeze blew over us and we were both fast asleep.

The next day we packed up all of our belongings, which was not much to be fair. Then we trekked our way down to the car. I could not believe how much time it had taken for us to climb the trail the first time. The walk down was nothing compared to what it had been when going up. I wasn't complaining though, it was a new experience for me and an exciting one for that matter.

When we got to the car, I had the feeling that my adventure was coming to an end. I was kind of sad but happy at the same time. It would be nice to have a soft bed to lay on and the promise of a hot shower.
