How do you take someone out on a date?

Miguel's POV

I froze when I heard her words. It seemed like my mind momentarily stopped working. I blinked as I tried to understand the words she just spoke.

“Pardon?”

“I don't want to sleep alone tonight.” She kept her gaze on my suit jacket. “Can you please spend the night with me? That's all I ask for.”

I gulped.

“Okay. Let me change out of my suits, and bathe. I will be in your room after that.”

I didn't ask why she asked that of me today. She has never asked me to do that, and that was why I didn't question her.

“Okay.”

She turned and entered her room, while I hurried over to mine, to have my bathe.

God.

My heart was beating miles a minute at the thought of what might happen. I was both excited and nervous. I've only slept on the same bed with my wife, once, and that was the day ago.

Could it be that she has got used to the feel of my arms around her? I bit my lower lip as I tried not to think much of it.
