I glanced at Miguel, whose attention was on his phone, and not on me. I cut the call and put the phone back in my pocket, only for it to start ringing again.

God.

Can't this man take a hint?

“Who's that?” Miguel glanced up from what he was doing.

He glanced at my phone before he turned his focus on me.

“No one. It's just one of these prank calls.” I took the phone out, and cut the call once more, hoping the man calling, will know that I didn't intend to answer his calls.

He better take the hint!

The phone rang once more.

“Who's that?” Miguel narrowed his eyes at my phone.

“No one.”

This time, I didn't just cut the call, I switched my phone off before I placed it back in my backpack.

“So, what are you ordering?” I rose from the couch and strode over to him.

“Who called you?” He raised a brow at me as if challenging me to lie about it.

He looked like he wasn't ready to drop the matter.

“I told you it's a prank call. Haven't you gotten it before?” I walked over to him and sat on
