Chapter 30— Sensual desires

A gasp ran out of my lips and I ducked my head backwards as our lips caressed in a rhythm. His tongue moved further into my mouth and my arms went around his hair pulling him closer to me.

I was beginning to explore his mouth when he broke the kiss. "Xan—" I licked my lips as he gazed at me with eyes that had turned scarlet.

He clicked his tongue, ruffled his hair and moved back leaving a considerable distance and I wondered what was wrong. "I don't—" he shifted on his seat and leaned into the chair.

I could read his restraint.

"Come closer," he breathed out and I leaned into him. His hands held mine tighter as I sniffed in his cologne.
