Chapter 48— In danger

"And you think it wasn't important to tell me?" Alexander scoffed over the phone and Rosalie sighed.

She skipped work for two days. When she visited Pamela, she didn't have the energy to go to work the next day because of the conversation between them both

"I'm sorry, sir" she apologized.

She heard him exhale over the phone, "where are you at the moment?"

"At…mum's place" she breathed out and at once, the call disconnected. Rosalie scoffed and leaned back into the chair she was in.

Couldn't he say he was ending the call? Was he arrogant or that was just his way of life? She curled on the sofa enjoying her show.

Her mum wasn't home. She had gone to her place of work. Boredom held her hostage and she used the TV. She would have called Aria over if Aria wasn't in her place of work.
