Having a conversation with this man eased the tension in my chest. it was as if we'd known each other for a very long time. "So you see, horses aren't things to toy with." He had been explaining to me how the horses were dangerous, it was probably his way of scaring me, which didn't work out. I stared at the lonely horse again, I wanted to reach out to it. It felt as if he was calling on me like he needed this type of conversation.

"Can I, by any chance get to the carrol?" He stood up straight and sucked in a breath. His height was Intimidating, given the fact that I was a middle-height woman. "of course you can, given that you don't get into trouble. I wouldn't be accounted for that."

He walked me through a small wooden door which led to the carrol. "If I may ask, who exactly are you? No lady, not maid ever made it to this place. Ever. Even the maids have no idea it exists. The people here never leave either, so, how are you able to find your way around the house?"
