Upon entering Steven's house, I was greeted with warm welcome. His family was very accomodating yet silly. They keep on asking me questions about my relation with Steven. 

At first, I was really nervous. But seeing his mother smile at me, all my worries were gone. It was like my mother smiling at me with ease. A mother of my own. It was a silly idea. 

What I felt back there...is something I couldn't explain. I couldn't find the reason why I felt so safe. Why their family feels like home. Especially him, his gaze. Everything about him. 

A sense of familiarity rushed over me. No matter how impossible the idea was. I'm comfortable. 

"I'm sorry about that," he finally spoke after a long silence.
