"Nikhil, I am not getting you."

"Nikhil, are you okay?"

"Nikhil, what exactly happened?"

"Nikhil do you hear me?"

All words of Jai went on deaf ears of Nikhil who was still in a haze. He was in shock. To break his trance Jai screamed"Nikhil."

Nikhil looked at Jai.

"Anvi was not there," Jai said. Nikhil shook his head, not believing his friend's words, and stuttered, "But I...I had se..seen her Jai."

"You need to calm down, first, ok." Nikhil breathed heavily and was reluctant to listen to Jai.

"Nikhil, please. We won't be able to proceed if you do not cooperate." Jai offered him a glass of water. Nikhil understood the consequences of his irrational act and took the glass of water from his friend's hand.

After he gulped it in one go, he sat on the office chair of his cabin.

"Now would you tell me what had happened?" Jai asked. He had been with Nikhil for the past half an hour but nothing
