Shadows

I stared blankly at the door leaf of the room in front of me. After the incident at the park, I felt something had changed about Axe. He became more quiet than usual. Sometimes I'd see him daydreaming, so lost in his own thoughts. During breakfast and dinner, Axe would often play with the food on his plate instead of eating it. He was thinking too much about the events that had passed. I was afraid he'd blame himself again and do something he shouldn't do.

I sighed heavily. It seemed like my duties were increasing. I have to keep a close eye on Axe and pay attention to his health. The loss he experienced made him neglect to take care of himself.

"Axe, can I come in?" I knocked lightly on the door. This wasn't his room, let alone mine. Do you remember the room Axe remodeled last time? Yes. After his work was done. Axe immediately locked himself in that room.
