"Oh. Oh, my goodness. So that guy is your brother, Bridgette?"

I winced at Rose's incredulous tone. She seemed shocked by the fact. The fact that the man I was with and so attached to the Oracle was the man who had impregnated me five years ago-my own brother.

Of course Rose knew who Axe was and what our relationship status was. She was the only person I told when there was no one I could trust in this world. Don't ask me what Rose's reaction was when I told her about my life problems. She was so sick at the thought of a man like Axe actually existing and indirectly coming into her life.

"Why are you with him, Bridgette?" she asked with a half-sigh.

"It's a long story." I sighed for a moment. Maybe this was my destiny, what could I do?

"Don't you want to leave him?" whispered Rose cautiously. Her eyes moved quickly through every visitor here, afraid that Axe would suddenly be here.

"I've tried. But he found me again."
