44.Finding Her Master

It was them. I knew it. I couldn't have forgotten those faces. I couldn't have failed to recognize them. Asides seeing them in my dreams every night through the master's projections, I had their image vividly seared in my head.

I couldn't forget that night. I didn't think that I ever could. I was there when my master had been captured by those bastards and their father and locked away in a place where no one knew about.

Everyone commended them for locking away the dark wizard, everyone but me. I missed him. I ached to see him again and I couldn't forget about him though I didn't try at all to.

How could I want to forget him? I remembered that day like it was yesterday and hissed. I had been too late. I had been too late to save my master. I had been practising some spells with him before he sent me on errands. By the time I came back that day, the alpha of the pack master hated had come for him and won over him in a battle.
