"What the hell?" Dave whispered. It was more a hiss than a whisper, coming out louder than the boy probably intended.
"Keep your voice down and act cool, okay?" Sam whispered without looking up.

"Are you tight with him now?" Dave asked. "When on Earth did that happen exactly?"
