"Wh-when... when you said you'd hurt Mila if I talked to her again, what did you have in mind for her?" Emma stuttered a little as she talked. She had trouble talking whenever she was near Cole.
"Let's see... if I ever saw you talking to her, I could easily get my friends to bully her, hit her, have some fun with her, or even better, I can do all of that myself." He smirked, making her gulp in fear.
"What do y-you me-mean by have s-some fun with h-her?" She already knew the answer, but she wanted to make sure that she knew how evil he was.
"I mean we can easily touch her inappropriately, or even better, take it to another level," he said, shrugging as if it was nothing. Emma's eyes went wide and she quickly looked away, understanding his dirty intentions.
"I'll stay away from her... you don't need to do any of that," she stammered, having some trouble breathing.

When Emma heard Hannah's voice, she got more nervous than she already was. It took her a lot of time to build up her courage to visit Mila after the phone call with Julie. "Mum, I swear I'm all good, nothing is wrong with me," Mila assured her mum, Jennifer, for the millionth time. She was sitting on the chair beside Mila's bed. The next morning, Mila woke up and found Blake already in the room and Emma was nowhere to be seen. She kept looking around, making sure that Emma was not in the room. To be honest, she was disappointed when she found her gone, but she tried to conceal that feeling."Good morning," she mumbled in a croaked voice. I did not know how long I had been in the closet, I did not have a watch, a mobile phone, or anything. I was hot, tired, thirsty, and hungry. I wanted to get out so bad, but Cole locked me inside and I did not know how to get out. I hated dark and closed places and now I was being kept in a small dark area. Mila looked at Emma's face when Cole walked in and she understood that Emma did not want him there. It was obvious from her pale face and shaky hands, from the look in her eyes and the worry and nervousness written all over her face that he made her feel petrified. Emma was finally able to have some good sleep after a long day. Her panic attacks wore her out and seeing Cole did not help. She wanted some rest; in fact, she needed it. Unfortunately, Emma's peaceful sleep was interrupted by a violent shake. Ten days passed since Emma was forced to ruin her friendship with Mila, ten days passed since Emma felt like she had somebody she could turn to, ten days passed since Mila felt lost and confused. The first day was the day Emma snapped at Mila. She stayed in the hospital bed, crying silently. When Cole entered the room, she did not acknowledge him, she was too lost in her thoughts to give a damn about his presence in the room. He took the recorder from under the bed and started to listen to everything loudly, just to torture Emma. Little seven years old Emma was playing in front of her house, she was all alone. Her parents were at work and her babysitter was an eighteen-year-old girl who barely cared about her, she was busy with her boyfriend inside the house and did not care that a seven-year-old child was all alone outside the house. She gave her Twinkies to eat and let her play in the front yard of the house. Emma had her bicycle with her and some other toys. She had her tiny backpack with her that contained the Twinkies and a watch that was given to her by her babysitter. Emma was a smart child and she understood how watches work. The babysitter gave her one, so she would not ask about the time and told her not to ask for food till it was twelve.Emma's stomach growled in hunger, so she took her Twinkies out of her small backpack that she left on the grass. As she was about to eat, a ten-year-old boy appeared out of nowhere and snatched them from her small hands, making the cute little girl frown.
