LUKA’S POV

I walked into the bathroom with another bout of heartache and this time again, the cause of it was the beautiful woman lying on my bed right now. The first time I felt like this was when it dawned on me that she cared about others more than me. Last night was magical, the entire day had been but the intimate moment I’d been able to spend with her had been more magical. It was the best moment of my life. There are no words to describe it.

Last night, I’d imagined waking up with a happy mate beside me. I’d imagined kissing her, making love to her over again, and letting the world know she was mine, not fake smiles and anger.
