CHAPTER 27

CRYSTINA’S POV

I was having lunch the next day when it occurred to me that I wouldn’t be seeing Nico and Paige again and it was all my fault. If only I had controlled myself at the party and drink just a cup of whatever that mixture was, things wouldn’t have gotten out of hand. These two are the only friends that I know and now, I have to go through the rest of my high school days without them.

A lone tear slipped down my eyes as I recalled each of her memories since I was nine years old till now and thinking about how I would go on without them was painful as well.

“Luna, are you okay?” Miss Mary asked as she noticed the tears that slipped down my eyes.

“I’m fine, thank you,” I quickly replied.

“No, you’re not fine, you were crying, Luna,” I’m still not used to the ‘Luna’ name that I’m now being called with and I find it difficult to stay accustomed to it. Every time someone calls me a Luna, my headaches are like never before.

“Can you please stop calling me Luna?” I asked.
